Thanksgiving Week

Whew! It's been quite a busy week. One of the best parts was the weather! This has been the warmest Thanksgiving EVER. I wish it felt like this all winter. No snow, no jackets, etc. We played outside a lot this week. The boys helped Daddy finish the Christmas lights, which look fantastic. We had cousins from ID visit for the week. Ethan's cousin, Tyler, is his age and he came over to play quite a bit. They got along great and that helped the week fly since we only had school on Mon and Tues. Ethan also had a Thanksgiving feast on Tues afternoon. I got to help and it was cute to see the little pilgrims and indians eating their feast together.
Of course, it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without a turkey bowl. I am impressed some of my sisters-in-law played this year. I stayed home with the napping children.
The boys had some late (like 4am) game nights this week.
We enjoyed a feast at Grandpa and Grandma Frasure's house. All of the kids and grandkids were there- probably one of the last times before Ron and Camille go on a mission. (And Eli didn't try a single bite.)
Ethan was big enough to cut up his own ham this year.
Tyce was excited to start feasting. He also got another tooth this week- max right lateral incisor.
We had a reader's theater after dinner, complete with costumes.
Oh, And I chopped off my hair this week. I was so ready for a change and my hair was such a pain to comb through. I like it much better now:)
The girls' performance-
The boys' performance- (Tom made a really good Goosy Loosy)
Tyce and I enjoyed the show.
"Huh? How dare you put me down!"
"I guess that's better"
The following day, we went to see the lights on temple square before Tom's brother and family traveled back to ID. Tyler's sister, Emily, is 8 and has always doted on Eli. He had the best week being babied by all the older girl cousins. They carried him around, played with him, fed him treats, etc. I think that kid has never gotten so much attention in his life. And he loved it!
Cousins
We finished the week (Sat) by putting up our inside Christmas decorations. Grandma Annette stopped by for a minute to say hello. And now we are feeling festive.
Ethan was a great helper this year.
We sure have a lot to be grateful for. This was a good week to think about our blessings and appreciate our families. I love this time of year!
