I love it when people write down funny things their kids say. I always try to remember, but usually forget. So hear goes:

Ethan (saying his prayers tonight) "And please bless that no strangers will come in (ok, this is common in bedtime prayers.) Only people who want to bring me presents (aaahhh, this part is new.)

Eli (yesterday) "Moooommmm! I was down here by myself. There was no one here to keep an eye on me."

Me "Why don't you go outside with Ethan. He'll keep an eye on you."

Eli "What?! Ethan is only 6. I need a grown-up to keep an eye on me!"

However, Eli also has some less-than-nice phrases he has picked up somewhere. Things like, "What were you thinking, you idiot?" and "If you don't give me ______, I am going to kick you in the bum!" and his newest favorite "What _____________, you FOOL." Wow, this could really hurt my self esteem. I think he needs to meet the soap;)

The other night, Eli put on his cute footsie pj's and tells Ethan, "Ethan! Hug me! I'm wearing my cute pajamas!" And he often responds to complements with, "Yeah, I know!"

And the cutest thing is that Ethan has a crush on his kindergarten teacher. He had a chance to write a Valentine (they were learning the letter V) and he wrote one to his teacher.
