We checked into Ogden Regional Medical Center a little after 3pm on Oct 7th. I don't know why I was dragging my feet so bad... probably cause I felt so fine and wasn't sure I wanted to be induced rather than wait to go into labor. But since I never seem to go into labor on my own, Thursday seemed like a good day to have a baby:)
Here I am waiting to dilate. (I hate having an IV in my arm.) I was hooked up to pitocin around 5pm, had my water broke around 6:30pm, dilated to 4cm around 9pm, and was fully dilated and ready to go around 10pm. So once I started to dilate, it went pretty fast!
Baby boy came in only a few easy pushes! I tell ya what... third time is a charm!
My in-laws had just arrived in time for the delivery.
And he is a cutie! Lots of dark hair and dark eyes and a cute little nose.
He looks quite a bit like Eli to me, but with chubbier cheeks and a little different look of his own.
So... weighing in at 7 lbs 14 ounces (just one ounce bigger than Eli, but a whole pound smaller than Ethan) at 11:33pm and 20 inches long... we still had no name for this baby!
