The funniest part was after I put the kids to bed (late) and went downstairs to clean up. I jumped into bed around 10:30pm and heard some noise coming from Eli's room. Then I recognized Eli is singing "Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, etc, etc" at the top of his lungs! He had been in bed for almost an hour and still hadn't gone to sleep from all the excitement. That is what happens when you eat 3 cupcakes and candy for dinner, I guess. Talk about a sugar high:) I had to laugh and then tell the Birthday Boy to go to sleep!
At Two Years Old, Eli...-loves to follow the older kids around and wants to do what they do
-has good coordination
-likes to throw and kick balls
-loves Star Wars everything
-is very sweet; will be the first to give a hug
-likes to help mommy
-can have a temper; mostly when it comes to being bossed around by Ethan
-can count to 10, but usually skips six now
-likes watching Super Why
-doesn't want to go to bed at night; but still takes naps every afternoon
-fun personality; enthusiastic about everything
-wants to do things by himself
-almost ready to be potty-trained
-talks really well; especially if you consider Ethan didn't say a word until he was 2
-considered my 'Golden Boy' cause he has such a nice olive skintone and golden hair
-still babied a little by me:)
