Since I officially ran out of paper in my journal, I am going to try and blog more often. This is the 2nd year we went to Race for the Cure in Salt Lake. It is a lot of fun, and a great cause too. I am happy to say that we ran the whole 5k, a first for Tom in probably 10 years. The kids had fun in the jogging stroller and enjoyed the popcicles and activities afterwards.
I wish I could sleep in til at least 9am but I think motherhood ruins your ability to sleep in. I was up at 7am on Mother's day even though the boys don't get up until 8:30am or so. At least I got to lay in bed for a while. The coolest part was feeling the baby move quite a bit. I've felt a flutter here or there but not a lot of movement. So it was quite appropriate for Mother's day to finally really feel the baby move (I'm at 18 weeks...it wasn't until 20 weeks with Ethan but I didn't write down with Eli)
Tom and Ethan made me a delicious breakfast of crepes and hashbrowns. They made me a card and got me a gift card to a spa. It was Ethan's idea that I should get my toenails painted which is exactly what I wanted.
After church, we visited Grandma Herzog and some aunts and uncles. Of course, my mom was there too so we could see her on Mother's day as well. It was a really nice visit and Grandma looked really good.
