18 Months Old!

So it's hard to believe my baby is 18 months old already! And boy does he want to grow up and be like all the big kids. He follows Ethan and his buddies everywhere and tries to do everything they do. In fact, the other day at some friends house... Eli was playing on a couch with the older kids and somehow fell off (of course there was no supervision). He bit right through his tongue and it bled and bled and bled. It's amazing how resilient kids are! He wanted to keep playing with the other kids even though his tongue was still bleeding. And I was afraid he might ask me for a barbell the next morning, now that he had pierced his tongue and all!

still into everything

can say so many more words...almost repeats everything!

moves a stool around to reach things= more trouble

knows animal sounds & body parts

lets me know if his diaper is dirty "ewww" and pats his bum

always has a cut, bruise, scrape

very coordinated and runs/jumps everywhere

likes to play with animals

loves to look at books

sometimes a mama's boy but likes going to nursery (twice so far)

very social

can be so sweet but not much of a snuggler
