GMC Acadia
I have loved this car since it came out when Ethan was a baby. I have sat in them and checked out all the features whenever I would get my oil changed. This was the car I was sure I wanted... until I decided it wasn't as roomy as I had hoped. The third row had pretty good leg room and nice cargo space, but it still felt pretty squishy. And for the price, I would rather get a year old Toyota Sequoia (my all-time favorite car)
Choice #2
Toyota Sequoia
I was pretty determined to get a Sequoia because I love the new look and figured we could just grow into it. I loved how roomy the interior was even though the cargo space was less than desired. I found some pretty good deals that included leather and a towing package, but just couldn't commit to getting such a gas hog.
Choice #3
Honda Odyssey
That left the minivan. Roomy, tons of cargo space, good gas miles... and the thing I couldn't get over- power doors. I love the power doors! Especially when my hands are full. Ethan wasn't even able to open the big heavy doors on the Sequoia, so the minivan is perfect for young kids. Not to mention, I think they thought of everything- cup holders, extra storage, DVD player, etc. We love our minivan! And I loved that I spent $13,000 less than I would have on the other options. Woo-hoo.
