Waiting for paint to dry

So the week before leaving on vacation, my house looked like this...

 And my wall looked like this...

 I had 11 paint samples while trying to decide on the right color.  I wanted a light gray wall but everything looked too blue with my tannish pink color shining through.  I ended up going with one that had a lot more beige than I wanted.  It was so stressful!  And then I just had to pick up and leave without knowing how it would turn out.  I even picked out a darker gray color for accent walls that I had never actually seen the night before our trip.  Aaaahhhh!  

We got to spend some time at our cousins' house because we couldn't live in ours for a few days.
