So we got back from vacation to see our house get finished painting. It was such a mess around here, it honestly took me 2 full days to clean and put things back together. But I love, love, love the new paint! While I was cleaning up, I added stripes to 2 of my bedroom walls. I love that too!
And then Monday began year-round school! Ethan was super excited for 3rd Grade, especially cause his best friend is finally going to be in his class. We had picked out a new shirt to wear, but at the last minute Ethan decided he would be more comfortable in one of his old shirts. He was just happy I didn't make him put on a 'handsome' shirt for once!
And Eli had his first day of kindergarten! (which is really just an orientation with mom there the whole time) He was a lot more nervous than I thought he would be. He is much more shy than Ethan and worries more about what the other kids will think. Even though he knows a lot of kids in his class from preschool, he is worried cause there are so many he doesn't know.
Look at that sad little face... this was even at the end of orientation when he got to make his treat :(
Then we went back on Thurs for his first real day of kindergarten. Eli was a little more excited and went running to the playground with his friend, Jacie. I think he'll be just fine after a few days.
And let's not forget Tyce... He got to see his one of his new preschools and meet the teachers, Miss Shawn and Miss Lisa. Tyce was nervous as well but I think he'll do great!
This speaks volumes about Tyce...
