House Remodel and a Haircut

It all started with a cute pillow I found at Target... I've been wanting to give my house a facelift for a while now but I knew one thing would just lead to another.  And so it began...  I bought the pillow.  (Then I bought 11 more)  You know- a few more for this couch, some for the front room, and more for the chairs outside.  Then I started spray painting picture frames and mirrors to lighten things up and give it a fresh look.  That was only the beginning.  I enlisted Tom's help and we stayed up to add wainscoting and a fresh coat of gray paint on top and white on the bottom.  I love it!!

Here is phase 1 with updated picture frames and decor
When I finished the front room, I liked it so much that I moved on to the dining room and painted my chairs.
Finished project with the family room in the background.  It feels so fresh and new.

While I was making improvements, why not chop off the mullet on Grant's little head... he hated every second of it and cried the whole time.  So I couldn't do much more than that.

 Nice improvement!

 So handsome!
We also had swim lessons this week and played at the Children's Museum while daddy had a business trip in Las Vegas.

Now that I got a taste of painting, I've hired someone to finish the rest of the house for me.  They start tomorrow!  I can't wait!
