Grant is 14 months old now. He insists that he is big enough to feed himself. If you know how I feel about messes, you can be sure it's not my favorite stage. I would spoon feed my kids til they were 4 if I could cut back on some of the messes. But alas, they need to learn for themselves...
Grant got his upper 1st baby molars in this week too. He will stand by himself occasionally if he doesn't realize you let go of him. And we even tricked him into taking a few steps by himself on 8/16/14 without him realizing he was doing that either. But otherwise, he has no interest in walking without a constant hand to support him. But Grant is certainly at the age to be interested in mischief. Such as unrolling toilet paper and breaking it into little pieces... always a favorite around here.
Tonight is his first night out of our closet and into his own room. We've been debating all summer about moving the older two boys to the basement together. They have wanted to go, so we finally did it. That leaves Eli's old room for Grant. And Tyce can move into Ethan's old room. And frees up the nursery... just in case.
The big boys bedroom. I added stripes while I was painting last weekend. Turned out pretty cute!
