Another Halloween has come and gone, and I think we all went to bed with a tummy ache from too many treats. Which means we had a great day!
We got to help out at Ethan's school party which included donut eating, ring toss, bingo, mummies, bean bag toss, etc. I think the kids had a really fun time getting a sugar high before the trick-or-treating began. And Ethan got a 2nd Super Nova today which really put him over the moon. He told me it was his best day ever:)
Then off we went to daddy's work where we got hooked up with loads and loads of candy. One might recognize some of these characters from last year- both Eli and Ethan insisted on being the same guys. And Tyce looks awfully familiar since all my boys have been frankenstein at that age.
After our candy high, all three of the kids insisted they were tired (it was 7pm) and wanted to go to bed. I forced them to come trick-or-treating a little around the neighborhood. You just have to take advantage of the weather right now! It was record-breaking 75 degrees today. Crazy. So they caught on to the fun and we enjoyed more treats and hanging out at the Olsens house which goes above and beyond for Halloween every year. It is like a professional spook alley plus there are fires for roasting hot dogs and cookies for decorating. That is one party you just can't miss! Tyce fell asleep in the stroller so it was time to come home and go to bed. Fun day!
