A Fun Almost-Halloween Day

The weather was gorgeous today- almost 70 degrees.  So I took the boys for a walk and to the park.  Eli asked me on the way what dogs like to eat cause we could hear a dog barking.  I told him the usual- dog food, bones, meat, etc.  He said, "So they must really like to eat skeletons!  Cause skeletons are made up of lots of bones."  I thought that was pretty cute.

Later that afternoon, I went to Eli's Halloween program at preschool.  He decided to be a ninja instead of spiderman for this one.  He did a good job and mostly sang the songs (and only had to be asked once to stop sword fighting with his neighbor).  It's a good thing they kept it short and sweet cause he came and sat by me before the last song.  He was done!

Afterwards, he enjoyed some witches brew and treats.  Funny kid wouldn't eat his donut but did like the candy, although he spilled most of it all over the car;)

And then Ethan came home after having a great day too.  He got a Super Nova for following directions and staying on task all day.  He was so excited!  I guess they have a drawing at school for Super Novas or something.
And I think the witch he made for halloween is pretty darn cute.  I am amazed at anything crafty or creative since I am so not either.
