I am pretty sure September is my favorite month of the year! The weather is perfect (it's mainly been in the low 80s) but still cools off more in the mornings/night. Which means I don't have to run so blasted early on Sat mornings any more:) I love sending my kiddos back to school/preschool. (Cause I love a good routine.) And there isn't any major holidays or busy stuff going on in general. Just a great month!
We packed in one last trip to our neighborhood pool before it closes next week... it has been a fun summer full of swimming!
And can I just say I love that these two are just the bestest buddies. They play, play, play together and rarely fight or argue. Even though there is 3+ years in between them, they do everything together, and Eli sure misses his brother while he is at school all day. It is so easy to have Ethan around because that means Eli will be so entertained. I've been listening to them play (it's a Sat) all day- from Just Dance to Legos to swimming to being Zombies, etc. It is so cute- I hope they stay friends like this:)
And Ethan was the Student of the Week this week for his class. He got to make a poster to tell about himself, bring a favorite toy and book. But the best part is- he got take home Andy the Owl and have adventures with him all week and then write about it. He loved Andy the Owl! He made a little bed for him, took him everywhere, and treated like he was our new family pet. I loved Andy the Owl too! He could get Ethan to practice piano like no other and helped him remember all the notes. It was great:) As far as I can tell, Ethan is loving first grade!
I do love having a little 1-on-1 time with Mr Eli while Tyce sleeps in the afternoon. He is a funny kid and keeps me laughing. I'm sad that darling little summer tan is about to start fading. He tans the best out of all of us!
