Universal Studios

The best part of the house we rented with the Carlson cousins was the pool and hot tub.  We took advantage of swimming and soaking daily!

 We went to Universal Studios our first day in CA.  (It was just ok).  Not a lot of rides for the older kids and not a lot to do for the little ones.  The weather was great and there were really no lines.  So that was a plus!  And the kids still had a great time.

We waited until our very last day in CA and then we went back to Universal one more time.

 Grant spent a lot of our vacation catching a catnap in his stroller.  It's so cute that he never sucks his thumb except when he gets his favorite blanket.  He was such a trooper the whole trip!

 When Grant woke up, the two of us enjoyed the tram ride around Universal (we missed it the first day since he was napping)

 Look at all these caged monkeys!

 Ethan got to be a dog trainer for the animal show.  That is huge for Ethan with his phobia of dogs!  (I think knowing he'd get a free soda at the end of it really motivated him)
