We have had a fantastic spring so far this year! We have been to the park, jogging, walking, bike riding, etc. quite a bit already. But then there are days like today (it's snowing outside) to remind me that winter isn't officially over.
Ethan took some pictures of Grant for me...
When I was gone one evening, Tom told me Ethan made this picture of Jesus all by himself and added his testimony to the back. I often think of the scripture "... and a little child shall lead them." when I think of Ethan because he is wise beyond his years.
Grant joined us for a date. We watched the Jazz and had amazing seats (thanks to Tom's work).
It was only a matter of time before I had a child add artwork to my walls... luckily it was in the basement. Tyce prefaced his art by telling me, "I want to show you something, Mommy! It will make you soooo happy!" (I could sense a little sarcasm in his 3-year-old voice so I knew it wouldn't make me sooooo happy)
Yep, here's the culprit...
And this little guy is officially weaned. I am actually really sad about it- 9 months is the earliest I've stopped nursing a baby. But he got so used to bottles (hence the trip to Mexico) and he would get so frustrated with me because I didn't have a lot of milk and it wouldn't come as fast. So the final nursing was Wed morning and I thought, "I guess this is it. I'm not making much milk anyway." And I've been a little sad since. I miss those bonding moments and I instinctively want to feed him after his bath at night. But on the bright side, I have enjoyed a little more freedom! Growing up fast...
