Oh my, it's been 3 weeks already. It's gone by pretty fast. I think we adjusted to having 4 kids pretty smoothly. (And I'm getting used to my sleep-deprived headache that accompanies having a newborn). But I have to admit I'm addicted to my baby. I just want to eat him up and then I want more babies once he gets too big. This could become a problem.
So at 3 weeks, Grant:
-has still been a super easy-going baby
-takes 3 good naps during the day; at least 2 hours each
-gets loved and hugged by his brothers any chance they get
-getting more used to his bassinet
-sleeps great in his carseat
-eats great and spits up tons
-sucks on a pacifier a little if he gets fidgety and can't settle into a nap, but then spits it out to sleep
-has a fussy time before bed
-likes his bedtime bath
-prefers to be in bed between 8 and 9
-gets up twice at night
-usually goes back to sleep in bassinet after the first feeding but then sleeps with me from the 4:30/5 feeding on
-not a big morning person
-relaxed into a routine pretty easily
-has his baby acne going on right now
-gives a little smile as he's about to doze off
-makes me sad that his eyes are going to turn brown, cause right now they are a beautiful shade of dark blue
-super cute and adorable!!
-we love him!!!
