Feelin' the love

So today is my birthday.  I turned 32- which can be hard to believe since I still feel about 25.  But I like being in my 30's (after all, I have 3 kids so I ought to be in my 30's).  But I had such a fun week celebrating my birthday.  Some girlfriends planned a big surprise party for me on Wed night.  I wouldn't have expected it (at least not that early) if Tom didn't mention that I needed to be home at 8:30pm that night... so I was a little suspicious.  It was a great time- almost 20 friends, cake, ice cream, goofy presents, etc.  I had a lot of fun and was touched so many people came:)
And then we got together with some of my favorite couples for a night out yesterday.  We decided not to wait the 2.5-3 hours for the Cheesecake Factory and went to Buca Di Beppo instead.  They have some awesome pasta- yum!  We headed back for games (which I won... maybe they were just being nice cause it was almost my b-day?) and homemade icecream.  More fun times!
My kids slept in for my birthday this morning.  Tyce woke up around 8:30 or so (I was already awake) but Ethan slept til 10:45am and Eli slept til after 11am!  I think we wore them out this weekend!  Church was great- my class of 12-year-olds were fairly manageable; and Tom is trying to bend over backwards to make my birthday a nice one.  Whew... I think I am all partied out.  What a great day:)
