The kids loved playing at the beach! (We probably should have spent everyday there, if it was a little warmer.) This was one of the nicest days- mid 60's and perfect for digging in sand.
It was so nice to have Tom's parents traveling with us. I felt like I was constantly doing head counts (and there were only two that could get away from me!). Sometimes (at the airport) I wondered how we had so many heads to keep track of! So it was wonderful to have the children outnumbered and Tom's parents were great about helping keep an eye on everyone.And this was another reason: we traded going to the San Diego temple and watching the kiddos. The temple was so beautiful- one of my new favorites:)
