HoGle ZoO

Labor Day weekend was nice and relaxing. We had Tom's parents visiting from Idaho too. They recently sold their home in Pocatello, ID and are starting to build a cabin in Bear Lake. We finished 2 more batches of salsa on Saturday (done til next year... hooray) and mostly stayed close to home.
We did meet up with Kenny, Melissa and their kids on Monday for a trip to Hogle Zoo. The weather was perfect- not too hot! But everyone else thought the same thing cause I've never seen it so crowded. We still had a nice time seeing all the animals. It's probably been about 6 months since I took the boys to the zoo. They had a great time!

One funny thing happened when we were looking at the elephants. A zoo worker was playing music on the drums, and Ethan couldn't help himself... he had to play too. Then he went up and down the isles telling everyone, "Come on... it's time to dance everybody!" That kid is so not shy! He also approached everyone to tell them all about where the baby animals were hiding (even though most exhibits had no baby animals).
