Father/Son Campout

The boys decided to enjoy the nice Sept weather (it's almost been 90 degrees all week) and take a camping trip near Brigham City. Tom, Jason and Uncle Doug + boys packed up and left Tuesday after work for a quick over-nighter. They spent the evening at a hot springs swimming and then had a campfire, complete with hot dogs and marshmallows.

Tom said the boys slept great in the tent... probably cause they were so exhausted! It was Eli's first night in a tent too. They had breakfast in the morning and hurried home for music class/preschool and Tom headed off to work.

And I totally loved having the evening to myself- running errands, last minute baby shopping, out to movies with some girlfriends, etc. Too bad the doctor scheduled me to be induced next Tuesday (10/5/10) cause I had a hard time sleeping last night. I actually went ahead and moved it to Thurs (10/7/10) today cause I need a few more days to get used to the idea. Ready or not... here he comes!
