This past week was a fairly busy one, and I kept getting that 'de ja vu' feeling. It started because we moved the guest bedroom furniture downstairs to open up another bedroom upstairs. I kept going back and forth between a new room for Ethan vs Eli (since I am keeping the nursery the same). I finally settled on leaving Ethan in his room and making a new room for Eli- complete with bunkbeds in case Ethan wants to slumber party or when this next baby gets big enough to share. (And I was thrilled about the new bed sets I found on clearance at Target too.)
So a couple nights this week after the kids went to bed, Tom and I painted Eli's new room. I decided to go with a beige color since the beds/bedding have enough color to them and I didn't want it to end up looking like a circus. We also had to paint the trim/door/closet white which took another late evening. I would have to say we make a pretty good team though- we are practically professional painters. Anyhow, I had that feeling of doing the exact same thing 2 years ago when I was pregnant and painting the nursery for Eli.
The other thing we did this week was visit the Hill Airforce Museum. The boys absolutely loved to see all the planes and helicopters. And that's when I remembered the last time we went there was the day before I was induced to have Eli a little less than 2 years ago. We had a great time, so I'll be sure to take them more often.
