Lava Hot Springs

Last weekend was the annual Sorensen reunion with Tom's mom's side of the family. This year was at Lava Hot Springs. The first day was a lot of fun at the swimming pools/slides. The kids had a great time swimming and playing with their cousins. Ethan is becoming quite the little fish... more on that another day.

And that was all the pictures I took because we never left our cabin after that day. Tom had his annual golf tournament early the next morning while I was getting the kids ready to go swim. I was making a picnic and Eli was pulling the drawers in the kitchen open and close. Then one of the drawers came all the way out and landed on his foot. Eli cried for about an hour, his big toe swelled up and bruised, and he couldn't move it. I thought for sure it was broken. So I spent the rest of the weekend holding Eli on my lap in the cabin. Luckily, he was getting around when we got home the next day. I was so happy his foot is okay and I wouldn't have to carry him around (7 months pregnant) for the rest of the summer!

Ethan and Tom did have a terrific rest of the weekend swimming, making campfires, and playing with cousins. Ethan has so many cousins his age on the Frasure side- all are boys except one too. I can only imagine the trouble they are going to get into as they get older:)
