The kids have been off-track since Easter. This is our first year of year-round school and so far I have loved it! We all look forward to the shorter breaks. This go-around, we had a few adventures to keep us entertained. (Although I think the boys prefer the lazy days where we have no where to be all day). We all went to the dentist and had great check-ups and no cavities! We played at the park. All three boys started baseball season so we had practices and our first games.
We spent a day at the treehouse museum in Ogden...
Ethan got his results back from doing AIM piano judging. He did great- 99%! His teacher, Kristin Baker, put so much time and energy into getting the kids ready for this. She is so amazing and patient with the kids.
Grant is not interested in tv/movies at all. The only thing I can get him to do is watch 5 min of Curious George on my phone. He asks for it sometimes saying, "OO-OO-Ah-Ah." But when it came time to meet George at the Treehouse museum, Grant would not go near that big monkey. I so wanted a picture of the two of them together too.
The boys playing on my phone and building magnets.
It's going to take a little more snow to keep us away from the parks!
When the weather turned warm again, we headed up to see the planes at Hill AFB. Always a hit with the boys and some of their friends:)
After spending two long weekends at Wood Badge camp, Daddy finally came home and was able to mow the lawn with a little help, of course.
And I was able to run a half marathon on Saturday. My friend, Ariel, convinced me to do it. So we added a couple long runs last month and decided to sign up. It was a great race- nice weather and slightly downhill with only a few uphills. We finished in 1:53- my second best time!
