18 Months Old!

It's hard to believe this cute kid is 18 months old already!  I really need to take some pictures of him dressed in real clothes and out of his jammies!  (Haha- poor 4th child).  Grant usually wakes up between 8:30-9am.  He is slightly grouchy in the morning and likes me to return his 4 stuffed animals back to their shelves. (Mickey Mouse, Kangaroo-roo, Whinnie the Pooh, and Dragon).  Then he likes to pick out some shoes and socks to carry downstairs.  Grant will throw the biggest fit if you try to change his clothes or diaper before breakfast!  Grant likes his cereal first thing in the morning.  Then he prefers to be free to wander around and get into cupboards or mischief.
Here are a few favorites:
He loves the stacking blocks
 Big cheese!
Pretending to talk on a cell phone (getting the real thing is even better!)
 Playing peek-a-boo
Eating at the island with the big boys

Grant is also a screamer.  If his brothers come near him, he will scream so loud!  Especially Tyce cause he knows that one is a tease.  It can be so embarrassing  at church.  Grant prefers mom or dad and scowls a lot at strangers when they try to talk to him.  But he loves to give "High fives."  That's a good way to win him over.  Grant is so smart too.  He will throw lots of things away for me when I ask (and plenty more "stuff" he deems garbage).  He points to the picture of Christ and says "Jesus" every morning.  He counts "1, 2, 3" before going down the slide.  Grant still loves balls the best and will kick one around or play basketball in the basement.  I don't think any of my other boys have liked balls nearly as much.  He babbles in his baby language all day long and we pretend to understand what he is saying. Grant is still a great sleeper.  He takes one long afternoon nap (about 3 hrs) each day and still goes to bed between 7:30-8 for a 13 hr stretch.  Grant will almost always come to me and sign 'toilet' when he is going poop or just pat his diaper when he is going pee.  I think potty training might be in our semi-near future.  He's a busy, busy boy with a bit of a temper (I attribute that to his slightly red hair) but he sure has the whole family wrapped around his little finger!
