My big boy

I keep reminding Tyce that I can't carry him any more now that he is a big 4-year-old.  He will respond that he is only 3 or 2 or 1.  No matter how much attention we give Tyce, it seems like he soaks it up like a sponge and needs more.  Maybe that's how it is being a middle child.  Tyce sure makes us laugh and keeps us on our toes!

At 4-years-old, Tyce...
-Loves preschool!  He looks forward to it everyday. (Even though he only goes twice a week)
-Is my most independent at this age.  Has always liked to get dressed by himself, find snacks by himself (not my favorite), make messes by himself, etc.
-Still loves to snuggle.  Usually crawls in bed with me each morning for some extra hugs.
-Almost done napping- maybe twice a week now
-Earliest riser... usually around 7:30am (but also goes to bed around 7pm if he doesn't have a nap)
-Such a tease!
-Doesn't watch much tv but enjoys time on the iPad
-Likes superheroes
-Not much of a breakfast eater.  Prefers a granola bar or yogurt
-Finally likes broccoli! (It's a must in our house)
-Loves to drink his calories.  He always wants a sprite or smoothie instead of a cookie or donut
-Can ride a bike but still prefers his balance bike
-Likes to be silly, chased, and tickled
-Knows all his letters and sounds
-Can count to 30...or higher!  I'm not even sure
-Knows our phone number
-Still likes to "help" me clean and do chores around the house
-Loves, loves, loves cute little girls.  This boy is girl-crazy at a young age!  He prefers to play with the girls even though he doesn't dress up or do girly things with him.  He just likes to be near them.  And then tells me who he wants to marry.  T-R-O-U-B-L-E
-Gets shy in large groups and hangs out with mom until he feels more comfortable
-Has a great smile, big brown eyes, and long lashes
