Fall Break

This is our first year doing year-round school.  And this is our first time going off-track.  So far, it's been a little over a week and I've really enjoyed having the kids home.  It's great to not get up and off to school- the kids can lounge in their jammies again.  Ethan and Eli have both been busy with basketball- having practices and their first games this week.  I also signed them up for a sports camp they really enjoyed for a few days.  The weather has been wonderful!
We took the kids on a nice walk up Lagoon trail after church on Sunday...

And we had a blast at the Black Island Pumpkin patch in Syracuse.  I had never been there before (the older two went on field trips). I didn't realize there was so much to do.  The kids had so much fun that we were there for 3 hours and I still had to drag them away!

I love this giggly little guy!  He insists on picking out a few stuffed animals to go to bed with him each night.  Usually it's his Pooh bears.  And then we put them back on the shelf in the morning.  So cute!
The not-so-fun part of the week was the boys catching the stomach flu that's been going around.  Eli got it first, followed by Ethan and Tyce (at the same time).  Luckily, it was really quick and everyone felt better in the morning.
One more week of fall break!
