December is just flying by. This week...
We went to the mall to play and visit with Santa. Tyce always declares that all he wants are "treats" for Christmas
We got a visitor... our very own Elf on the Shelf. We named him Dominic and the kids love it!
Ethan writes notes for Dominic to take with him to the North Pole. He also leaves out snacks and water for him. He even made Dominic his own toilet, just in case! This note says "Dear Santa and all of his elfs. Hope you can have a safe ride around the world, Santa. The elfs are amazing at buildingn toys. Keep up the good work. Love, Ethan"
We enjoyed a Herzog Christmas brunch and white elephant exchange, complete with fake mustaches.
Getting together with cousins... these two will never slow down long enough for a picture.
(Nice take-down Henry)
Enjoying our lights- Tom always does a fabulous job!
2nd grade basketball season came to an end. I hardly took any pictures because Tom was always filming it on his phone. The very last game, I brought my camera. Unfortunately, Ethan jammed his thumb after one quarter and had to sit out. It's been really swollen for the next few days. Ethan says his favorite part about playing basketball is defense. He likes to "shut their best players down"
