The baptism day must have worn Ethan right out. He went to bed around 9:30pm and then I had to wake him up Sunday morning at 11am. It was a new record (the boys are always trying to break their old record for who can sleep in the longest)! Ethan looked so handsome for church in his new suit (2 sizes too big) and scriptures. He took being 8 very seriously.
The best part was that Ethan went up in sacrament meeting for the first time to bear his testimony... not once, but twice:) The first time, he told the story of shopping at Costco with me and his brothers earlier that week. My card fell out of my pocket and we retraced our steps but couldn't find it. We went to the front, but no one had turned it in. Ethan suggested we pray and right then, someone came up to us with my card! So his testimony was about prayer. The second time, he went back up to share the rest of his testimony of the Gospel. It was so cute- that kid is not shy.
What a good example for his little brothers
