Here he is!

So here I am packed and ready to go to the hospital (the night before).  You can tell this is our 4th kid, cause I just drove myself, checked in, and had my water broken before Tom got there around 11am.

Now we just waited to dialate... and waited... and waited... I got to 3 cm and pretty much stopped even though I was on the highest amount of pitocin.  I got an epidural around 1pm.  So around 3pm, my nurse took me off pitocin altogether for a half hour to see if we couldn't jump start things.  Once I was back on, I went from a 3 to a 10 in a half hour.  Even though I had my epidural, I was feeling every contraction and felt like I needed to push.

Luckily, the anesthesiologist got me a boost of medicine so I could wait until the Dr arrived.  And two good pushes later- here he is!  8 lbs 2 ounces and 20 inches long.  Perfectly healthy and cute.

His brothers were pretty excited to meet him.  (And find Skittles in the room).  And still no name...

Glad it all went well, even though you had to wait it out a bit!! I love that you drove yourself and checked yourself in! You're a veteran now! And you seriously painted the laundry room right before? ha ha. Someday you need to come teach me how to paint my house. I'm too scared. But I think I would like it. :) I love his little scrunched up face and you look great!!!!!!
