The kids remembered how some mischievous leprechauns stopped by last year and did some silly things. They didn't want to go to sleep cause they were so excited to see if they came again this year. And of course they got up early (around 7:45- I was hoping to sleep in til 10) to check it out.
Those leprechauns turned the milk green again, used the potty and forgot to flush (green pee) and stacked up pillows to lounge on the couch and read the Friend magazine. They did leave a trail of pennies to some 'pots' of gold. The kids found some change, gold chocolate treats and caramels, and a coloring page. We then enjoyed our traditional green pancakes. It's not much and takes a total of 10 minutes, but so cute to see them excited!
