Hello, Poison Control... it's me again

Boy was Tyce back to his usual self and then some this past week!  I'd like to blame his behavior on the very little sleep he got the week before, but I just can't be sure.  He was demanding, irritable, and just plain naughty.  Tyce was in time-out more this week than probably his other 2 years combined.  2 year olds- ugh!

Here he is repeating, "I'm a zombie.  I'm a zombie.  I gonna get you"

Taking a break to pout

And we got a lot of this (whining, crying) going on

So Thursday evening, I was changing the laundry upstairs when Eli comes to find me and tell me Tyce has gotten into the vitamins.  He's pushed a chair over many times, but hasn't been able to get the lids off and I have found him in time and scolded him.  But this time, Tyce had the lid to the adult multivitamins off and was popping them in like fruit snacks.  So I made Tom call poison control and luckily these ones didn't have any iron so he would probably be just fine.  He acted normal and didn't even get a belly ache- which is what I always say so he doesn't eat more than one.  So who knows if he learned his lesson??
And then just over two days later, Tom left for church meetings and I had the other two boys in the tub washing their hair.  When I go look for Tyce (who was previously eating his breakfast downstairs) he was in the kids' bathroom drinking a bottle of Benadryl.  Nice.  I could tell he spilled a lot on his shirt and counter, but I didn't know for sure how much he drank.  So I got a turn calling poison control who told me he could actually have a pretty large dose before it was harmful and he would probably just get drowsy.  Oddly enough, that was the shortest nap (only 2 hours) that he took all week.
If that wasn't enough fun, Tyce also broke out in a huge rash with some large mosquito-bite looking welts on his legs Friday.  Turns out he must have an allergy to the penicillin he had been on from his ear infection.  So his poor little face looked awful, not to mention the rest of his body.  And his ears hadn't cleared up so we had to switch him to another antibiotic.  What a week!  I have been extremely grateful the other two boys are so incredibly easy right now and just play great together.  I feel like I need all my attention on this one lately.
Now I'm hoping to make it another week with my 2-year-old and without calling poison control... let's see what other mischief Tyce can get into next.

Oh my gosh! That could have been scary! I cannot believe i have not had to call poison control once. Knock on wood! It's like some sort of strange miracle... so how are you?! How is the pregnancy going? Where are the belly pictures? :) Let's get together soon! Maybe we can actually meet at a park sometime, it seems to be warming up a little!! My high school friend lives by you and I've been there a couple times recently to meet up for other friend's showers, etc, and I have almost stopped by a couple times!
