Basketball Ends

Ethan's last basketball game was yesterday.  Even though I don't think he loved the season, I was really proud of him!  He hustled, tried to get rebounds, even stole the ball, and stuck to his guy like glue.  Ethan is not the most aggressive kid, so he did a really great job.  Overall, when he gets the ball, his biggest goal is to get rid of it before the kids swarm in and attack;)  And I was happy he never gave up and went to each game ready to play.  (I know there is no way I would have done that as a first grader)

Great job, Ethan!  We had some fairly late games this season so it wasn't uncommon to show up in our pj's:)

And Ethan brought home this letter to Santa from school today.  I will interpret 1st grade spelling and lack of punctuation.  It says, "For Christmas I want... Pokeman.  Santa can you give me Pokeman?  And I like Skylanders.  Please, please, please can you give me Pokeman?  Santa give me Pokeman.  I'm going to die if I don't get Pokeman for me. I will so cry if I don't get Pokeman!!!!!!"

Hahaha.  I thought it was funny.  And a little dramatic.  Let's hope Ethan gets some Pokeman cards for Christmas!  I'd hate to see him die over it.
