Christmas Eve 2011

Instructions for a fun Christmas Eve:

1st- Have family over.
This year we had Grandpa, Grandma Carlson, my Aunt Connie (all from AK) Uncle Dave and his wife Anna (from ID), Grandma Annette, Jason, Amelia, and cousins Kate, Will, Zach and Henry

Next- Make a yummy dinner.
We had a traditional dinner with ham, potatoes, rolls, salad, corn and treats

Third- Watch a video of the Nativity followed by acting.
We had a pretty good cast this year using our puppet nativity characters

Fourth- sing some carols.
Ethan wanted to play a few songs he has been learning in piano also
Next- open Christmas pj's

Sixth- take pics with cousins in said pj's
(looking tired)
Seventh- Have a gift exchange.
It worked out that this year we had Jason/Amelia's kids and they had us. And Grandma Annette made all the boys cute matching Broncos ties.

Next- start getting tired and whiney.
Tyce took care of that one
Ninth- frost sugar cookies. Eat them. Leave some for Santa.

Last- put kids to bed (8pm) and stay up to wrap presents.
Christmas Eve was a success!
