6 Months = So Much Fun!

I really, really love 6 month olds! They are so smiley and happy and curious about everything. Bonus: they still stay in one place when you set them down. I took Tyce in for his check-up and he weighed 17 lbs 4 oz (50th percentile) and was 28 inches tall (95th percentile). He is growing great, eating great, and sleeping great. And he is my first boy to have a head circumference not only on the chart but below the 50th percentile. Also, last night I decided to skip the 'dream feed' and he slept straight through without a problem... which means I can start going to bed again at 9pm if I feel like it:) And that only leaves feedings at 6-7am, noon, 4pm, and 8pm. Not too shabby.
At 6 months, Tyce:
-can sit up for a few seconds before he topples over
-can roll from tummy to back, and almost the other way too
-loves to play peek-a-boo and ride-the-pony
-grabs at everything, puts it in his mouth, and drools all the time
-loves to watch his brothers
-has long, curly eyelashes
-has less (light brown) hair then the other boys at this age
-likes almost all baby food, exception: green beans (eats 3 meals now each day)
-gnaws on graham crackers and loves them
-usually gets up around 8:30am, and then takes 2 naps (around 2 hours each)
-still a little fussy in the evening before bed time
-loves water and his bath
-will still fall asleep in the carseat if I don't get home in time for naps
-easy, mellow temperament so far
I just love this little man! He is growing so fast!
