Smiles all around

So we started off February with colds, but this time around wasn't too bad at all! Whew. Now if we can make it til March, maybe we'll be good to go. We sure get anxious for spring to arrive this time of year.

Eli has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now. He started at about 9 weeks old (Ethan was 8 weeks old) but then got a cold so we got back in the habit of a 3 or 4am feed. But now it's been at least 2 weeks of wonderful nights and I am thoroughly enjoying this stage of life.

Ethan has become Mr. Independent these days. He wants to do everything by himself now and I amazed at how much he can! Yesterday, he got a stool to reach his favorite cereal, another stool to reach a bowl and spoon. He just couldn't quite pour the milk (luckily he didn't try.) We signed Ethan up for swim lessons that start tomorrow so I am excited to see how it goes.

Eli has become my smiley boy lately. He is starting to be able to stay up a little longer between naps (almost an hour and a half compared to 45 minutes).

So I promised my sister a picture of my haircut. I was trying to grow it long enough to donate, but was way too tired of it already. So here is the after picture.

I like it both ways but short hair is a good change. It can always grow back... but I'm still thinking about going even shorter.
