Is January over yet?

After the holidays are over and the tree is taken down, January just seems to drag for me. It didn't help that we started off the new year by passing colds to each other. It began with Ethan (who had a TERRIBLE cold and cough) and ended with Eli, but caught Tom and me as well. So we stayed homebound for the first two weeks of the year. (Except Tom who drank orange juice and went to work).
I am happy to report we have all recovered and appreciate our good health once again. I can tell that the poor second child will have a lot less pictures than our first. But I did manage to take a few of him this month. He is smiling and laughing now which makes it a lot more fun. When I get out the camera, however, it is hard to capture one of those smiles. He mostly looks like a deer in the headlights. We managed to get one or two smiles...
