Eli is such a good big brother to Grant. He loves to play with him and make him laugh. Grant had so much fun while I was having a YW meeting.
And I've been obsessing over quartz the past few weeks as I try to remodel the kitchen...
Tyce came home from preschool last week with a prize from his teachers- markers. While we drove home, he took out his new prize and made himself into a tiger. He did have some pretty great stripes but what person gives a 3-year-old markers (not even the washable kinds). We made a rule at our house that the only way to get off coloring on yourself is a very cold shower. That seems to do the trick;)
Soccer has been in full swing. Eli has an amazing team and he loves it! He was sick this week and so disappointed that he missed his soccer game.
And we are just happy if Tyce runs around the field without mom and dad.
On Tues and Thurs, I now have a 2 hour break with just this little man. He was my lunch date last week. Grant has learned to sign '"more" very well recently and uses it to his full advantage. Especially when it comes to junk food.
Grant has also improved his walking skills tremendously this past two weeks. He can take 8-10 steps and stands up on his own. Although his preferred method of getting around is still crawling. It won't be long now though.
Lucky boy has such nice brothers!
And after I finally settle on a countertop, I still have the tile backsplash to pick out. Oh boy! (It's going to get crazy looking at flooring after this)
We spent Labor Day in line to see the Ogden temple. Even though we had our reservations, we still waited over an hour in the hot afternoon sun. By the time we got to the video presentation, Grant was beside himself and soooo tired. I ended up waiting outside with Grant while the other 3 boys took a tour. But listening to them talk about the temple makes it all worth it.
The weather has cooled off a lot more in the mornings. So we've been able to go for walks with friends. Unfortunately, this is how we roll right now and it is a catastrophe waiting to happen. My boys don't do well in tight, cramped spaces together. (And by boys, I mean Tyce)
