My lil chunky monkey is 10 months old now! I have to write this all down before I forget...
Grant is having some "stranger danger" anxiety and likes it when mom or dad are around (and preferably holding him). He is getting around more and more. Grant will crawl a few feet forward and then push himself into sitting position and then repeat. I forgot he was mobile the other night while making dinner. And then he crawled over and pulled down the VERY full garbage can all over the floor... Time to start baby-proofing!
Grant is a great, consistent sleeper. He goes to bed at 8:30pm and can now sleep all the way tip 8:30am without a feeding. (As of 2 weeks ago! Yay) Prior to that, he would often wake up anytime between 4:30-6:30am for a bottle and go back to bed. Grant also takes two consistent naps from 10am-noon and again from 3-5pm. He's a happy boy when he gets lots of rest! In fact, he plays in his bed a lot that I don't even realize when he woke up. I finally go to check on him and he's sitting up playing around.
Grant still slobbers non-stop. His shirts are constantly wet. But he still just has the two bottom teeth. He likes food, but especially when I mix a little fruit in with his veggies. He doesn't love a lot of table food, to my surprise! But he enjoys finger foods like crackers and cereal.
This tough little guy is loved by his brothers. He tolerates them quite well. Now even Eli likes to carry him around. And Tyce still likes to poke at him and see what happens. Tyce is thrilled if he makes him laugh, but more often makes him cry. Ethan is always good to help me watch Grant and play with him. Once he forgot Grant is moving now until he crawled right off Ethan's bed.
This smiley guy looks so much like a Carlson in this picture... check out the huge mouth and the ears!
We went to a SLC Bees game! We watched them hit a grand slam and so we got free grand slams at Denny's:)
