It's been 8 years since we took a vacation without kids. In fact, it was so hard to leave baby Ethan when we went to Hawaii that we've never attempted to do it since... But 3 more boys later, I think we needed a break!
So with a little convincing from my brother and sister-in-law to join them and some neighbors, we had a trip to Cabo San Lucas planned within a few weeks. Our passports were expedited, and it was time to leave before we knew it. I had a near-panic attack whenever I thought about leaving the boys (especially the baby!) but I somehow managed to board the plane.
And hear we are upon arrival at Cabo (well, actually San Jose del Cabo)
Tom and Jason had quite an adventure 'walking' to find a golf course. They eventually made it to one and had a great time golfing.
The flea market where we got ripped off buying souvenirs for the kids;)
Getting serenaded at lunch in downtown Cabo
Ready to go for a boat ride. We saw amazing whales!!!
Lover's Beach
The sombrero we brought home for the kids (upon Ethan's request)
Our last night... the hotel had a carnival that was surprisingly great entertainment
Our fun group!
I was so ready to come home and see the kids... and the novelty wore off after a few hugs and about 5 hours! Then they were fighting, there was homework to do, piano to practice, loads of laundry, cooking, and cleaning... I would have been happy to board the next flight back!
