The first week of school, Ethan wrote about his summertime fun. I really enjoyed his story (improved for spelling and punctuation):
"Have you ever been camping? I have. Did you eat some good food and candy? I did. Did you play in the sand at the beach? I did. I brought my family and cousins. We had a wonderful time. Did you go sea-doing? How far did you go on the sea do? Did you get to climb the mountains? I like going camping. I got so that I got dehydrated and I felt so weak that I could barely walk. My mom and dad were carrying me and I barely made it to my car and when I got home and drank tons of milk and water. I was so tired that I fell on the ?? and my mom and dad lifted me up and put my in my bed. The end."
