Valentine's Day

Tyce posing this week with two things he loves: Pooh bear and his blankie

Ethan celebrated 100 days of school on Wed by making some cool glasses

We made fancy valentines at story time this week.  Eli got to have a fancy tea party at preschool for Valentine's day too... so handsome:)

We kept up the tradition of making homemade heart-shaped pizzas for Vday.  We had salad, strawberries, and a little sparkling cider.  There were chocolates for dessert which Tyce enjoyed the most.  Out of all the boys, he takes after me and loves chocolate.

The day was a lot of fun.  I got to help the kids make Valentine's bags in Ethan's class.  The boys came home with lots of candy and exchanged some more with neighbor kids.  I decided calories don't count on Valentine's day and ate a bit too much sweets myself.  It's always nice to be surrounded by those you love:)

And one of my favorite FHE activity is our valentines to each other... we just write on plain paper and then tape them to our bedroom doors to enjoy. I see lots of people with amazing crafts, fancy decorations, and cute treats for their kids (for every holiday).  So even though I feel like I keep things fairly simple, it's fun to do a little something and the kids get excited about it.  After all, I'd hate to put their expectations too high and disappoint them!
