A Bike Rider and Late Nighter

So I mentioned recently that Ethan has had no desire to ride his bike without training wheels.  But last night I told him he could earn a new Skylander if he learned to ride his bike.  So what did he do?  Jumped on and started riding.  He needed me to help with the initial take-off but then he could go, go, go.  (I figured this would still take months of practicing).  We did a few laps around the church and he was great!  This reminds me a lot of potty training- once Ethan decided he was fine with the idea, he just used the potty and had practically 0 accidents after that, even at bedtime.  This is a kid that doesn't like to be rushed into things;)

And Ethan also got to have some friends over tonight for his first late-nighter.  Most families don't have sleepovers these days (which is ok by me) but have kids over for a 'late night.'  We had about 8 boys over til a bit after 10pm.  They played the wii while we waited for it to get dark.  Then Tom put on a movie outside while they had root beer floats, popcorn, and licorice.  Fun stuff:)
