Apparently, I don't go overboard for most holidays. I think that's because they weren't so huge at our house growing up. But my friend was distraught to learn that I have never dyed Easter eggs with the kids before. In fact, I probably haven't dyed Easter eggs in 20 years (at least)! So she organized an Easter egg night, complete with dyes, wraps?, rubber bands, stickers, crayons, etc. The kids had a great time! Eli was done after about 4 eggs. I was done after I colored a 'world' egg complete with all the continents and a blue ocean. Tom and Ethan went strong. And Tyce wandered around the kitchen crying cause he couldn't drink the 'juice' in the cups. It was fun and we might have to keep up this tradition. Too bad every time I open my fridge though it smells like rotten eggs!
