Me and Eli

Since Eli isn't napping these days, we have a lot of afternoons together while Ethan is at school and Tyce is asleep. I keep realizing how Eli is growing up so fast. Yesterday, while I was upstairs, Eli moved the stool to get a cup with a lid, opened the fridge and pour himself milk, put the lid on his cup and put the milk away. Not a huge deal, but I always just figured Ethan did things for him.

And we have been working on putting sounds together. Eli has known his letters and sounds for a while and we are now sounding them out and making a few simple words. The funny thing is, he loves it when we sound out a word and then make a sentence using the new word and 'poop'. He thinks it is so hilarious! I should probably put a stop to that before preschool when he is disappointed that the teacher doesn't say 'poop' all the time.
