This past week was a busy one! It started off by passing out invitations to Ethan's birthday party. And Tom left for a week of continuing ed in Boise, ID. While Tom was away, I tried to keep the boys really busy. We went swimming a couple of times, Lil Flippers, children's museum, pictures of the boys, and even a very quick trip to the mall. I think we did pretty good, but I was still losing my patience by Thurs evening. We wrapped up the week with our last day of swim lessons for the summer. Ethan did great! He could swim the width of the pool, flip onto his back for 15 seconds and then turn around and swim back. I was so impressed!
Thurs also happened to be Ethan's 6th birthday (his party was on Friday). I had to celebrate a little so I decorated Wed night. When Ethan woke up, the dining room was decorated and he got to open a present- Lego Batman on the wii. That kept him pretty occupied for the day. Grandma Frasure as well as Grandma Annette also stopped by that afternoon with a present. Ethan was in heaven with a new pirate castle and legos (star wars). I think Ethan had a pretty fun birthday:) In fact, I contemplated cancelling his party cause he was already so spoiled! And when Tom got home late Thurs night, we were so glad to see him!
