Popsicles, Pools and Padres!

June has come and gone... We spent a couple more days at Lagoon with Tom's work and the kids had a great time! Then it finally warmed up and we've been spending most of our days eating popsicles and playing at the neighborhood pool.

We haven't spent all that much time at our pool the last few summers, but we have really been taking advantage of it so far this summer. Eli is my little fish. He loves to be thrown in and dunked in the water. Ethan takes after me... we slowly inch our way into the water and complain if it is too cold. He doesn't like to put his face in or get splashed. He does have a lot of fun playing near the stairs once he does get in. It's funny that Ethan takes after me (both cautious) yet he loves roller coaster rides and scary things.

And of course June wouldn't be complete without Father's Day. Ethan helped me make Tom a yummy breakfast with biscuits, gravy, sausage and eggs. We made him a card and tried to spoil him all day long. Ethan and Eli are lucky to have such a great dad. They always want to know when daddy will be coming home... cause that is when the fun really begins! They love to follow him around the yard and work on projects together. I can see as they grow older how things shift from mom to dad. We are ALL so happy when daddy comes home!
