Christmas Eve

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Eve with my family this year. We made homemade pizza (our Christmas Eve tradition), cookies for Santa, and acted out the nativity with puppets I had made. We also got to open a present (pj's) that night, plus our family gift exchange. Ethan was so excited for Christmas this year. I showed him the present he could open on Christmas Eve, and it just about killed him to wait all day!

While Tom was at work on Christmas Eve, we took a trip to visit my Grandma Herzog. It had been a long time since we've seen her because Grandma was having chemo treatments and we didn't want to get her sick. But my boys have been healthy for a long time now, so we had a really nice visit with her. Ethan remembers to pray for Grandma Herzog every day.
