This Thanksgiving... be grateful for a good night's sleep

We've made it to three weeks old! I think I am one of the few people who dread the newborn stage and would rather be pregnant forever. They are cute and cuddly, but so unpredictable and HUNGRY, especially at 3am. But overall I would say we are adjusting pretty well and Eli is a very good baby.
I had Eli in the swing last night while we were eating dinner and Ethan gets down to say hi to him. Of course Ethan helps push the swing (it's one that is very low to the ground) and before I can stop him Eli has gone head first onto the ground. Whoops... better start buckling him in! And he doesn't even cry- which didn't help when I tried to explain to Ethan how naughty that was!
At nursery on Sunday our favorite 'singing lady' was asking Ethan if he had a new baby brother. Ethan says, "Yes, but my mommy says I can't tackle him until he gets bigger!" Let's hope he keeps remembering that cause it's been close a few times.

I love your new family pictures! I'm starting to see that Eli is a Frasure!

HEY so we're going on a cruise with my family in a couple weeks and I know you went on one when you were pregnant and so if you have any good tips for pregnant women on a cruise, feel free!! Did you do anything like snorkel? anyway I'm think I'm mostly excited for the FOOD!

Great family pictures! How is it adjusting to 2 kids now? I hope Ethan can keep his hands off Eli long enough to keep him safe...ha ha. Eli is too cute!

Hi Stacy! I found your blog off Rikki's page. Your boys are so cute and I can't believe how big Ethan is! Anyway, I just want to stay in touch since we don't see each other very often. Hope your family is doing well. -Melissa

So guess what at my doctor's appointment a couple days ago he totally told me not to snorkel!!! can you believe it! I am so mad!! I did all my research on the internet (which is THE most reliable source that I know of...) and everywhere it says it's okay for pregnant women to snorkel. I guess this doctor is pretty conservative. He's afraid of the ocean water infecting me or something. I really want to anyway though, I mean, YOU DID! Anyway. We're leaving next week and we're going on the Baja Mexico cruise, i'm excited!!

(this is gonna be a long comment too...) Yeah see that's what I was thinking too, I don't want to pressure Jenna so much that it becomes completely traumatizing! When she has worn underwear she knows exactly what to do and had few accidents too so she knows what it's all about, so I guess when she's ready she'll be ready. I was just sort of hoping to get a jump start before the baby but maybe it's easier this way!

I guess my doctor is worried about the ocean water getting in me and maybe infecting the baby?? or something? Like I'm gonna go get an enema? Don't a lot of pregnant women swim at the beach? Like I said OH WELL I think we'll whale watch instead.

OH GOOD I've been asked to sing with some people for the stake music fireside on the 21st so I was wondering how I was gonna work that in and I was thinking maybe we could change the date too so that works out PERFECTLY, the 28th is good for us, hopefully the Garfields are good with that too. I'm excited to see blessing pictures!!
