One last hoorah

We decided to take one last camping trip before the approach of fall. (Although it's tough to think about winter coming when it has still been 90 degrees or so). We camped near PineView Reservoir (at least I think that's where we were at) with cousins Kate, Will and baby Zachary (who was a terrific little camper for only 2 months old).
Of course the food is probably the best part of camping! Ethan always suffers from a little diarrhea after our camping excursions. I don't think his stomach is prepared for all those hot dogs and licorice.
We honestly got all the kids to look at the camera and smile by having them say "Poop!" It's extremely funny to two and three-year olds, but the other campers probably thought we were disgusting.

Tom and Ethan love to go camping and I tolerate it quite well, if I say so myself. Here I am trying to hide my 7-month-pregnant tummy, which really missed our extremely soft king bed and all our pillows. I'm sure I will more than make up for the lost sleep in the next few days though.

Here are the kids having breakfast by the fire. When Ethan heard his cousins talking that morning, he opened his eyes and then says, "Hey, turn the lights off!"
